Look for how quickly superstars move-ask people-know what the boundaries are of what’s reasonable
Lay out your plans and have alternatives in case they say no
Negotiate small things frequently
–If a service you use has a promotion, ask for new customer bonus even if you are an existing customer but are going to make new investment
