As a result of today…

Thank You

Rest

I will be studying the unConference method and how my nonprofit org can employ it to promote learning and save costs

I was part of conversations I’m interested in hearing and contributing to

I remembered how much I LOVE live tweeting

I’ve learned that the DC area has a amazing group of talented and smart women and I feel so honored and happy to have met them

I am more confident in my geekiness

I learned that if you ask questions you will learn about options available

I feel a stronger sense of community

I feel less isolated

I am more affirmed in the vision that I have in harnessing the power of technology and community to create and bring forth energy to make personal goals and dreams a reality – thank you

I found that I’m not the only one am ??? by Syfy

I feel a part of a welcoming community that does and will do amazing things with technology

I realized I really can and do move mountains on tiny, itty, bitty boulder at a time

I am more committed to determining what kind of entrepreneur I want to be

I feel creative, centered and confident. Thank you!

I expanded my personal and professional network – I feel more empowered and more conscious of women’s issues in the technology industry

I’m going to ask for what I want more

I have several new resources and several online mentors to watch and ask questions of. Thank you for the opportunity

I feel closer to the goals we have set out at our organization and have embraced my inner geek

I will make time for myself – I will form more technical/professional relationships with women – I will succeed!

I have discovered new friends who have passion for technology

My network has grown – my networks have intersected and I have planted seeds that will hopefully germinate into new Web2.0 passions!

I learned about a cool open source project I never would have known about – met women with similar interests as well

I feel more connected to a vibrant community of strong women leaders

I found a community

I have new allies who can help me move my vision into reality – thank you for opening my perspective

I feel more energized in my role as a female entrepreneur and leader

I’ll be back tomorrow

I have a wealth of links to explore on the use and analysis of social media – I also have a dozen new friends

I will be make much more an effort to take steps to deal with workplace stress and aches/pains resulting from sitting in a chair, staring at a computer for 10+ hours a day 

I learned to reach out more and involve more people in the things I am trying to do!

I learned how other organizations are meeting and overcoming some of the same tech and media staffing challenges I see in my organization. Successes are meant to be shared!

I have new ideas to make office more transparent – ways to track mentions and other random fun resources

I feel more connected to other women who are passionate about social media, technology, women’s issues and making the USA a better place with open government technology and sharing

I see a lot of power in this room!

As a result of today…

I have learned about all sorts of new opportunities and resources

I’m getting more women to consider designing Apps

I’m going to be more involved in supporting girls in tech

I realized that you have to do what you love and you’ll have a great time

I want to learn more about drupal – I am excited about the new blog I’m planning to start

I will really get The Salon rolling

I’ll contact new people (the day after) tomorrow

I became more inspired by the women I was in company with. I am young and still largely undecided about my career in tech, so it was great to have so many examples of what’s possible Yayyyy! ;-)

I am excited about what we can do to encourage you to pursue technology

I will work toward truly contributing to my technical field by finally presenting topics of expertise

I may have a job and I definitely have a new perspective

I feel empowered to take more chances and be more aggressive in my goals

I know that I need to will speak the ‘language’ to get results

I remember that my experience is shared among other women and I can remind myself to SPEAK UP because I ‘do’ have knowledge/resources that others could find useful – I am convinced that Twitter lists are useful and will create my own  - I have new connections that will add to my online experience

I realized there were like minded women in the area – both local area and my former business

I got to know about some great local tech events in DC – learn about cool topics people are passionate about and cool things people are doing and participate in

I understand OAuth, mostly get OpenID, and am a little terrified of what WebFinger could be.

I am more motivated to be involved in groups and events like this one

Engaged – Serve and Enjoy my tribe

I want women to stop putting up obstacles and start taking action and that I will be here to support them

I know that all government agencies struggle with the same issues

I understand Twitter lists WAY better

I am convinced that I have found my tribe. It is so important to know and connect with like-minded women. I also know now that my ability to connect and share my gift of yoga for computer users is needed, so I will now pursue other avenues to share yoga with more conferences, workshops, forums and groups. Thank you.

I feel more energized about my career

I met new people and learned more about social media metrics

I feel like I have a safe space within the online community of women to speak my mind, ask questions I might otherwise be too embarrassed to ask, foster ideas and more knowledge

As a result of today I am pledging to give 5 talks this year and support those who also make this pledge

I know I can help other women in Tech fulfill their tech dreams through solidarity – I realize I can’t compete with awesome little geeky girls who have a session – I have already added 12 new twitter followers

I will help other women to further their life goals
