Friday “I’m geeky because…”

ImGeekyBC_SMNothing like breaking the ice with this question: “I’m geeky because…”

  • I am always learning and I read to much Science fiction.
  • I am always interested in everything.
  • I love to learn.
  • I love to learn new things about people/ thoughts/ideas and perspectives.
  • I love technology.
  • I actually read the terms of use and privacy policy.
  • Tech is in my blood and I am the pioneer of twelve apps that is now used everyday.
  • Because I enjoy X-files, Star Wars and Star Trek and anything J.J. Abrams.
  • Because I am curious. I love conferences and learning from others.
  • I spend a lot of my free time on Reddit and Wikipedia.
  • I choose to be!
  • Because Cortana is my alter ego and Lara Craft is my hero.
  • I emailed Kas to ask her when registration was opening.
  • I love brainstorming IoT projects.
  • I had better tools than my husband for wood working and microelectronics
  • I had to bring two laptops so I can do my whole work email from the conference.
  • I am fearless!
  • I volunteer with raptor migration study.
  • Because as child I loved comics
  • I love learning new things and I can’t get enough of it!
  • I like to take things apart and put them back together for fun.
  • I believe that God is not just one big picture.
  • Because I will not shut up about electric vehicles!
  • Because I can check into a hotel by myself and exceed the amount of devices allowed included for hotel wifi
  • I am curios and passionate about coming to a better understanding about the world around me.
  • Because I love analyzing how things work.
  • I proofread in my sleep and I love asking why!
  • I love hands-on tech and I adore other geeks.
  • Because I am a programmer.
  • I’m insanely curious and write my first program in 1968.
  • Because I LOVE data and analytics.
  • I like building my own versions of things when existing solutions are unsatisfactory.
  • I care about people and making things work.
  • I am a scientist!
  • I’m an engineer who loves problem solving and finding out WHY.
  • I spend my days trying to make science fun in high school!
  • I love to explore and enjoy tech challenges.
  • I love computers, science, weird Vader collections and I’m the only one in my family who can assemble Ikea furniture.
  • I’d rather listen to s/w podcasts.
  • I love tech gadgets and I have a magical talent to break them all.
  • I love learning and unicorns.

    Can you correct mine please (12 apps) the word is I am ‘a’ pioneer on twelve apps that is now used everyday.

    I was part of teams…not the complete sole pioneer 🙂 Thank you
